Market Briefing Event - Independent Visitors Scheme

The London Borough of Barnet is holding a Market Briefing Event for the Independent Visitors Scheme Service. This is your opportunity to find out more about the service and about the bidding process.
An Independent Visitor (IV) is a volunteer who is not paid for their services, and is giving up their time to contribute positively to the welfare of a Child or Young Person (CYP) to be able to promote the child’s developmental, socially and emotionally. The IV visits, advises and supports the CYP according to their needs and wishes. The new service is required to be flexible enough not only to deliver services which achieve good outcomes, but also respond to changing demands in scope and delivery.
