Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Assessments

The London Borough of Barnet seeks to re-open the existing approved list for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards assessments and has issued this Invitation to Tender (ITT) to all interested parties. The London Borough of Barnet seeks to award new providers onto an Approved List for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Assessments completed by both Best Interest Assessors and Mental Health Assessors. The tender is divided into two lots:
Lot 1: Best Interest Assessors
Lot 2: Mental Health Assessors

The authority welcomes applications from: Independent assessors, agencies or other suitable organisations who can apply for one or both Lots.

The Authority developed an approved list for a period of an initial three year term with the option exercisable by the Authority of a 1 + 1 year extension subject to performance review and budget. The approved list started on 1st April 2016 and may be reviewed annually.
