Intake, Assessment and Intervention Social Work Requirement

The London borough of Barnet seeks to award a single contract to the successful provider for the provision of Intake, Assessment and Intervention Social Work Requirement. An increase in the volume of contacts to the MASH has been observed and an increase in referrals to social care over the past year. This has led to pressure on the social care workforce, in particular the Duty and Assessment Teams (DATs) which receive the majority of social care referrals from the MASH, particularly those relating to higher-risk cases, and manage their transition to social care. This, in turn, has an impact on the number of cases held within the Intervention and Planning service area, therefore requiring a provider for a 3 month period to provide the provision.
